Chic Kitchen Backsplashes

Chic Kitchen Backsplashes
Upcycled bricks get a new life as a glazed backsplash in our 10-year-old Beautiful Kitchen of the Year. The dark hue pays homage to one of the key ingredients of cooking: black pepper.

Just when you thought you had seen everything a blue and white kitchen could do, we gave you Moorish tiles.

We did not even plan a kitchen race, but now we are. This backsplash is limited to the area just above the area, which makes it almost like a work of art.

Marble can be as stylish or industrially cool as you want, based on the materials you combine with it.

Even a neutral backsplash can catch your eye when you use tiny tesserae - especially when light bounces off them.

Would you like to shine your kitchen immediately? Go glazed.

If the kitchen is visible from the living room, the backsplash can not be easy. Moroccan tiles give oak furniture color.

Do not forget your outdoor spaces! Blue patterned tiles contrast with the lacquered copper countertops of this outdoor bar.

This cracked ceramic tile is a refined version of subway tile and is glazed in bright blue. It's just the glamor touch to really make the black and gold hood shine.

White cabinets contrast with a bold blue backsplash. (Also check out how the brass drawer perfectly complements the La Cornue series knobs.)
